“Fitch”: Oil Countries in the Middle East Will Record Stronger Growth In 2024

Fitch Ratings expects oil exporters in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to record stronger growth in 2024, thanks to momentum in non-oil real GDP and stable large-scale oil production.

Fitch's 2024 Outlook report for the Middle East and North Africa showed that the conflict between Israel and Hamas still poses some risks of regional escalation.

Weak global growth in 2024 could push OPEC+ to further production cuts if the oil market decisively turns into a surplus.
